PLANYou will arrive at Etna North at 1800 altitude where you will embark on the moon bus to go to the summit of Etna. Along the way the guide will give you all the information about the volcano and you will see the remaining lava from the big eruption of 2002 which destroyed all the houses, Bar and restaurant around.
Noone were imjured because they were notified one week before and had plenty of time to take their belongings and leave.
Etna North turns into a ski resort during the winter time, it is very unusal to ski on a volcano, The ski trail is 10 kms long
Reaching the top at 2900 mts Altitude you will be blown away by her majesty Mother Etna
Afterwards you will go back on board and after a short drive, the volcanogist will take you for a walk of approximately of25 minutes around some of the Volcanoes
Activity level: moderate.
The walk takes place on off-road paths: it is advisable to wear comfortable, appropriate footwear, warm clothing and a wind jacket (even during the summer months).
