PLANDeparture to Monreale, where we'll explore its magnificent cathedral (includes entrance fee), adorned with opulent marble and exquisite mosaics throughout its interior. Optional visit to the Benedictines' cloister. We'll then journey to Palermo, where we'll visit the cathedral, the historic heart of the old town, stroll through the vibrant 'Capo' market, admire the Quattro Canti and Pretoria squares, and indulge in a tasting of Sicilian Street Food at a local Palermo bakery. You'll have free time to enjoy lunch and leisure in the renowned Piazza Verdi, known as the square of the Massimo theatre. In the afternoon, an optional visit to the catacombs of the Capuchins awaits before we return to the hotel for dinner.
